Trailer and factory bus crash kills two
KOTA TINGGI: Two passengers of a factory bus died when the vehicled collided with a trailer at the 25.5KM of the Johor Baru-Mersing road here.
The victims were 23-year-old school canteen worker Nor Hazieana Sulaiman and factory operator Mazlina Yahya, 19.
Four other passengers including the bus driver suffered injuries. There were 30 people in the bus during the 8.30pm accident on Saturday.
“The trailer driver and his assistant fled the scene after the accident and have yet to lodge a report,” said Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Osman Mohamed Sebot.
