Presidents, prime ministers, ministers and other "vipy" fly to Kamchatka quite often. All of them
are rushing through the narrow roads of the peninsula with sirens and flashing lights, scaring drivers
and pedestrians. Roaring and flashing cavalcade occasionally become participants in road accidents.
The visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Kamchatka was memorable to a young
mother Olga Kuklin in more way than one.
According to her,on July 4, at six o'clock in the evening was her "not lucky" day to be in the way of
a government motorcade.

Olga says that the "Toyota Land Cruiser" was returning home from relatives to Paratunka. Asleep in
the backseat of her six-month daughter, Christina.
As she drove along the narrow two lane deserted road toward the direction of the restaurant "Gold
House", she was met with a rushing of traffic police cars with flashing lights and siren from the
opposite direction.
She immediately pulled to the side of the road to allow the rushing convoy to pass. After a brief moment,
a rushing Toyota Hayes in the opposite lane suddenly swiveled into her lane because of a flat tire and
"hooked" her Land Cruiser before flying into the ditch.

Olga was in a shock and set in the car momentously before realizing that her daughter was crying
in the back seat. She than took the child in her arm and sat down again in her car till police officers
arrived to take down her particulars, statement and assist her with her onward journey.
However, Olga claimed that her problem did not end with her onward journey. Instead, the police
and official called on her several times after the incident to dispute the cause of the accident. It was
only after Olga tendered the DVR recording from her dash cam to the traffic court that the official
from the Prime Minister's Office reluctantly agreed to compensate her for damages to her Land
Cruiser.
