SINGAPORE - A 45-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink driving after he crashed his car into a drain in Yio Chu Kang on Friday night (June 8).
Police said they were alerted to the accident at 10.14pm, at the junction of Yio Chu Kang Road and Cactus Road.
The man was conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, said the police spokesman.
He was subsequently arrested for suspected drink driving.
Photos shared on Facebook showed the white Toyota stuck in a drain, after it presumably drove over the pedestrian walkway and crashed into vegetation.
Police investigations are ongoing.
