Do we need to setup another comittee to study the rationale for these hikes? Please be more productive and hire the cheapest workers on this planet to pass very good savings onto the people of Singapore
Where is sir ong who sacked locals and hire cheap foreigners , please sack the other town councils manager and replace them with cheap workers too, we don't need so many managers for a small island where the national pledge is an aspiration

Who needs these people there? Who's paying their exorbitant salaries? There must be a review of the Town Council's personnel and payscale. I am of the opinion that with the surplus, projects are approved and granted without serious consideration. I can also extrapolate that you can find alot of these contractors in the Resident committee waiting eagerly for these handouts.
Its time for a change and part of this change have to be keeping the purse strings of the TC tighter. They have surpluses, yet they wish to build on it, just to squander. Its time to audit their spending ways and to ensure that there is no covert bribery.
We can start this by voting for a change. We change the MP to get to the running of the Town councils. Im sure with so many people looking for jobs, plus the retirees , some with management experience, a better control of the finances can be achieved.
We dont see the opposition wards displaying this kind of inefficient greed.

At the rate they have to put the excess scholars here, there and everywhere...just a matter of time we will have a scholar [earning a 5 figure sum or even more] in charge of a section/detail of 6 cleaners cleaning a small area of the various towns in singapore.
If not enough...break into 2 sections/details of 3 cleaners each and even more as more and more scholars overflow singapore every where.
Wah so much "expensive" talents singapore has. And the peoples of singapore STILL supporting them. Talk about irony.
No wonder scholars continue to think so high and uppity that they are better people then others.
All i can say to these scholars is the monies spent on you is to the detriment of all your fellow citizens. Still feel up and better huh....should feel sad and sick to the heart, mind and soul.

Stupid town councils sending in people to cut grass and trees when grass are already dried out . What is there to cut .
