I too am fond of CX flights.

Service and food comparable to SIA and much cheaper to travel on. SIA charges its OWN CITIZENS higher ticket prices when purchased in Singapore. WTF!

My favorites are British Airways, Cathay Pacific and JAL. Frankly SIA isn't too bad but I try to avoid. Follow the rule of never fly with the carrier of the same nationality as your passport unless absolutely necessary.

How come no SIA in the rankings

Not that I expect them to take any of the top rankings, but they usually take the 4th or 5th position.

It is not the number you carry, it is the profit you generate.

Headline is misleading. It only includes international flights. The top airline according to passangers carried is Southwest with 101 million passengers. Rounding out the top 5 is China Southern Airlines with 58 million passengers carried.

Since AssAyeAir is losing $ big time, it has neither the nos. nor profit to show.

I think they always declare lower figures so they always can ask assistance /bailout money from Singapore government and also pay their fat cats high bonuses .
