Toddler killed in freak car crash

KLANG: A two-year-old girl was killed when a SUV driven by her uncle rammed into her. The 10.30am incident happened yesterday when Lim Wai Choong, 30, was reversing the vehicle out of his brother’s house to go for an outing with the family.

“He heard a sound when he reversed the vehicle and was shocked to see his niece Lim Jia Ni lying behind his SUV from the rear view mirror,” said Klang traffic police chief Supt Rosli Rahman.

According to Supt Rosli, family members rushed the child to the Seri Kota hospital here but she died on the way. “She suffered serious head injuries in the accident,” he said.
