A three-year-old Taiwanese toddler cried to death after he could not watch his favourite cartoon show. He started screaming and crying after his grandmother switched off the television for his afternoon nap. He was also sweating profusely. The grandmother later called the emergency services. According to doctors, male toddlers who have cardiovascular or cerebrovascular ailments may be more prone to such deaths.
Causes include anger or over-exercise. Purple lips or bruising of the body can indicate problems of the heart. Doctors also pointed out that some children may inherit psychiatric ailments that cause them to be overly agitated. They may also sweat profusely and suffer from lack of oxygen. The doctors advised parents who face such problems to admit their children into the hospital immediately.
