It is not the duty of people to guide anyone. Certainly you can inform people. Like I am sharing this info with you. This is just information. But it is not my job to take a ruler or tape measure and come running after you to see whether you have "followed" what I have said or whether you 'believe' what I have said here.
As the verse says "Laysa alaykum huda hum... : It is not upon you to guide them..".
There is a simple and logical reason for this : no one can vouch if another person is really guided. You cannot possibly know. You really cannot know who is guided or who is a devil. You really cannot know who is a shaytaan or a malaikah.
And from what I have seen (and read), too often the fellows with those beards and robes are the biggest shaytans.
Sadly the jahil people (the ignorant people) call them by titles like "maulana", which I have explained before. In the Quran the word 'maulana' (protector) is preserved only for Allah. Not for any human and certainly not for any of these beardos.
That is also why again and again the Muslim societies are burning to the ground (literally). Because they go around measuring each other's levels of "guidance".
"I am better than you, I am holier than you, I will kill you"
Surah 43:36 And those who disregard the message of the Most Gracious, we appoint for him a SATAN (SHAYTAAN) to be his constant companion.
Surah 43:37 And surely they (satans) will divert them from the path, yet make them believe that they are guided.
They only think they are guided but they are actually the followers of satan. Sadly this is what has been going on.
