Fantastic views from the £20million cafe 10,000ft high in the Austrian Alps
With unrivalled views across the Alps from an incredible 10,000ft, a new cafe that is now the highest in Austria is the perfect spot
for high tea.
The eatery - perched on top of the Pitztal glacier - will be linked to a new ski lift to get holidaymakers up the Wildspitze mountain.
The £20 million project is due to be open in October - just in time for this winter's skiing season.

But marketing manager Stefan Richter - who's promised to keep the restaurant's prices more down to earth - explained: 'It's going
to be breathtaking with amazing views. It will be called '3440' because it is located 3440 metres up the glacier.'
The new restaurant has unparalleled views of Tyrol's highest mountain, the Wildspitze, and the surrounding fifty 3000-metre peaks
of the Pitztal.
The free-floating terrace and panoramic seats behind a wide glass frontage has enough seating for more than 100 people.
Their is also an outside bar which stays open until the last run of the ski lift.
