A STOMPer saw two guys caressing a girl in full view of the crowd at a popular club in the River Valley area. The STOMPer says that people seem to be becoming less and less concerned about their behaviour in public.
Said the STOMPer:
"I witnessed this situation in a popular club in the River Valley district on Saturday (April 3), sometime after 11pm.
"Two guys were feeling up this girl.
"The girl was standing alone, leaning against the wall, when one of the guys approached her and began talking to her.
"Then, the other guy, who seemed to be a friend of the first guy, came and soon they both started feeling her up, touching her breasts and kissing her on the lips and cheeks.
"I could not figure out if she was feeling overpowered or enjoying it.
"But from what I saw, the girl seemed to consent to the guys' actions and that she did not try to push them away or anything.
"Such things are beginning to be commonplace in clubs and it's a little worrying that people are becoming less and less concerned with how to act in public.
"I don't think the guys know the girl, but even if they do, such behaviour is totally unacceptable, especially when everyone can see what they are doing."
The STOMPer went on to say that if these people wanted to get intimate, they should have at least gone to somewhere private.
He said that such behaviour in public is bad for their reputation, especially for the girl, because people who do not know them might judge them based on their behaviour.
This is not the first time STOMP has received reports about people getting carried away at parties.
Several STOMPers sent in videos and pictures of a girl in bikini being groped by a group of men at the New Year Countdown Party at Siloso Beach on December 31 2009.
The story sparked a robust discussion among STOMPers, some saying that the girl was asking for it by dressing provocatively, while others condemned the men for their actions.
