> A staff quarter in Pantai Chenang, Langkawi, was found to have become a love nest when three couples were nabbed by Kedah Islamic Religious Department (Jaik) enforcement officers.
Harian Metro reported that the 3am raid on Thursday also resulted in a female suspect being rushed to Langkawi Hospital after she fainted when Jaik officers barged into her room.
The suspect was understood to have been attempting to discard evidence of her sexual liaison. Her partner, who worked at a nearby hotel, was also found hiding in the bathroom.
The woman, in her 20s, was suspected of living with her boyfriend at the quarters for several months.
