For all the crimes the Japs committed in China and SE Asia, they fully deserved the nukes from USA. Note that they are still an occupied country like so many others that USA refuses to leave once invaded.

The Amercans used the bomb for reasons other than to defeat Imperial Japan, but to signal the Soviets not to invade Japan. They (U.S.S.R.) already amassed thousand of troops in Manchuria waiting to land on Japan at that time. The US developed the bpmb ahead of all its enemies, so it was necesary to show the world that they had that weapon. And would use it. If they had to. That is history.

The Americans decided not to use the bomb. For that, Pres. Truman relieved Gen. MacArthur for suggesting the bomb. Seeing the way your men died in that war, its was natural (in fact, wise) to resort to a weapon of mass destruction.
