Your Prime Minister's life is in danger!!
THE DSO National Laboratories is examining a letter, addressed to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, that was received at the Istana on Monday. A police spokesman said on Tuesday that civil defence officers had also conducted tests on the letter earlier, but did not find any traces of hazardous materials. The police did not comment on who sent the letter and how, or what made it suspicious.
Malay language daily Berita Harian reported the incident on its front page today, saying that several Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers had been sent to the Istana to carry out tests on the letter. Giving an update, the police spokesman said on Tuesday: 'SCDF conducted tests on the letter using detectors and did not find any traces of hazardous materials. 'The letter has been sent to the DSO National Laboratories for further checks.'
