That’s not new right, I thought such speeds had been around since the early days of Shinkansen. Years back I took the Maglev to Shanghai airport and it was already hitting 430km/h 20 years ago.

That one floats so it can probably go much faster. Built by Siemens.japan and china racing to introduce intercity maglev trains. The thing is, if trains go faster, why bother buying expensive sports cars.
