Smelly rubbish bin at City Hall overflows with trash

This overflowing rubbish bin was spotted by STOMPer Angel13 outside City Hall MRT Station. The STOMPer wonders if anyone is taking care of Singapore's cleanliness.

In an email, the STOMPer said:

"After having a wonderful dinner with my fiancee at Raffles City, we decided to take a stroll down the city.

"I was shocked to see this.

"A trash bin in front of City Hall MRT Station was overflowing with rubbish.

"The smell of food waste filled the atmosphere.

"I wonder if there is anyone taking care of or giving any attention to our city's cleanliness.

"As you know, Singapore is well known as a clean and green city.

"In such a crowded area full of tourists from other countries, foreigners are bound to comment on the image of Singapore."
