But one California street performer has taken Michael Jackson’s signature dance move to a whole new level.

The 25-year-old performer appears to be defying the laws of physics by gliding backwards with ease in a 21-second YouTube clip of his routine.
The dancer seems undeterred by the rain that sweeps across the busy shopping street and effortlessly executes the self-styled King of Pop’s best-known move. The footage entitled ‘SUPER MoonWalking’ has taken the internet by storm with more than 35,000 YouTube hits in one day.
It has received more than 3,000 likes and almost 400 comments from internet users who were stunned by the nimble man’s moves.‘Eat your heart out, MJ,’ wrote one person. ‘Somebody give that guy a medal’ and ‘DAMN!! I NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!!!!’ added others.
Michael Jackson debuted the moonwalk during a performance of 'Billie Jean' on the ABC television special 'Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever'. It subsequently became one of the most popular dance moves in the world.
