The Story of Wife Being Abused by Her Own Grandfather to Giving Birth to Children, Husband in Berau, East Kalimantan

KOMPAS.com – A PU wife (16) who just got married in February 2022 gave birth to her first child as a result of her own grandfather’s sexual abuse.
The victim’s husband, BE became emotional after learning of this incident and reported the grandfather with the initials SA (64) to the Berau Police, East Kalimantan (Kaltim).
It turns out that BE’s wife had been sexually molested by SA several times until she became pregnant.
PU, who is already pregnant with SA’s child, does not dare to reveal the incident because she is afraid of her husband.
After giving birth to her baby on September 3, 2022 at the Abdul Rivai General Hospital, PU finally got up the courage to say that the child she gave birth to was the result of her grandfather’s sexual abuse.
“The victim was molested by her grandfather SA in Sembakungan, Gunung Tabur District,” Berau Police Chief, AKBP Shindu Brahmarya through Kasihumas Berau Police, Iptu Suradi on Friday (23/9/2022).
BE can’t believe it
BE who heard his wife’s story did not believe that the child was not the result of an intimate relationship with him, because his marriage was only 7 months old.
So BE returned to Abdul Rivai Hospital to ask his wife’s age of birth.
Sure enough, after being examined, hospital officials said that his wife gave birth naturally, which was 9 months.
It is concluded that the baby was born as a result of his wife’s relationship with his grandfather.
Not accepting it, BE immediately reported SA to the Berau Police, then the officers immediately picked up the perpetrator without a fight.
From the results of the investigation by officers, it turned out that not only PU was molested, his brother with the initials IL (14) was also a victim of his own grandfather’s abuse.
“From the results of the investigation, it turns out that there is another victim with the initials IL (14). And this act has been carried out more than once. We are still following up and the suspect has been secured at the Berau Police Headquarters,” he said.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 82 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76E of RI Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to RI Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection as stipulated in Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Perpu Number 1 of 2016 concerning Amendments The second law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection is punishable by a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 15 years.
