- the escalating prices of new HDB apartments is good for us. Huh? How can that be if our wages are stagnant due to bringing in more foreigners?
- retirement age from 55 to 62 and then to 65 years otherwise we die younger from boredom. Even better if you work til you drop dead from old age.
- $390 million for YOG is money well spent. But if giving more to Singaporeans, the aged and poor is not money well spent?
- Singapore won the world team table tennis championship over China. Actually China's "B Team" beat their "A Team". This happens a lot in sports, as being No. 1 does not guarantee a win every time over No, 2. If only we can attract all the top sportmen to live in SIngapore for a few years, no doubt Singapore can even be the world's No. 1 in all sports. Singapore is also No. 1 in taking all 10 tops positions for having the "Highest Paid Politcians" on the planet. Obama the U.S. President taking maybe a lowly position in the top 100 if he is lucky. Lastly, Singapore also took another world record as having the oldest politician at age 88 contesting in an election when most of the world's politicians either had died, or already senile before reaching 80. Those that are still alive before reaching 80 has decided to take it easy and spent their last days with their grandchildren.
- PAP also said that Singapore only have a flood every 50 years. Since the flood of Orchard Road in 2010, more than 2 centuries had passed since then although it is now 2011, By 2012 another 2 centuries would have gone by and Singaporeans would not have notice it as all they witness are those every 50 years flood that the storm brought. The PA however admitted that they could not preform a miracle in mitigating "the every 50 year it happens: floods. What a shame as I really believe they could do it.
Well I never believe in Easter Bunnies, but I guess the PAP will convince Singaporeans they are real and will hand out choclates over the weekend. I mean, I thiught they were very stingy towards Singaporeans but the PAP government is giving me $700 right?
