Not sure if you guys recall the old SBF. When the emigration folder began there were a number of trolls that would post newspaper reports on negative stories about incidents in OZ and New Zealand. The trolls never replied or responded but kept posting as some gullible forummers would respond.
Eventually others learn to understand that trolls live on responses and replies whether they are one-liners, intelligent or even silly, it amounted to a response.
All it takes is one person to respond and the troll will be fed. And the folder will start sinking.
Neddy, I know you can't help yourself so do give it another shot or you might want to take a break until the folder recovers. I am sure you must wonder why they are always after you just as pigeons tend to flock when the regular old man turns up in the park. The others need to do your part. Please do not respond or reply to anyone who responds to a troll. The need to isolate the troll and the forummers that respond to trolls are important. The initial stages will be hard as troll will always try to wreck a thread by multiple postings. When there is no response, they will start posting soft and engaging topics o draw you in. Just be patient.
The rest can do your part by posting or starting interesting and relevant emigration related threads on matters such as food, housing, school, immigration, business opportunities, excerpts of your journey etc.
Emigration is always a great topic as there so many challenges, so many questions and many people ready to share their experiences. It can come back if given the chance.
