Cheryl Grimmer​

In 1970, three-year-old Grimmer disappeared in Australia. The girl was kidnapped off a beach. The case has been unsolved for more than 40 years, but in 2017 a man was detained under suspicion of kidnapping the child. However, the charge against the suspect was dropped in February 2019.

Richard Halliburton (outside the cockpit in photo)​

The American was a writer and adventurer who loved a challenge. In 1939, he was heading from Hong Kong to San Francisco on an old Chinese boat, however he disappeared during the voyage. In his last communication he said that he was passing through a rough storm.

John Ruffo​

In 1998 this American businessman was condemned to 17 years in prison for defrauding various American financial institutions. Ruffo didn't hand himself in to complete his sentence, and was never seen again. He is still wanted by the authorities to this day.

Percy Fawcett​

The British explorer became obsessed with finding a lost ancient city he called 'Z,' which supposedly sat somewhere in the Amazon. In 1925 Fawcett journeyed into uncharted Amazon territory with his son and a friend. The three were never heard from again, and are believed to have been killed by natives.

William Cantelo​

This 19th-century British inventor is credited with inventing the machine gun. When Cantelo disappeared, his family hired a private investigator who followed his trail to America. His sons believed he assumed a new identity.

Jim Thompson​

The American served in the army and joined the American secret service (OSS) during World War II. He went to Thailand, abandoning the OSS, and became an important figure in the silk industry. In 1967 he left his bungalow to take a walk and was never seen again.

Roanoke Colony​

According to History.com, John White, governor of the island colony of Roanoke, went to England for supplies around 1587. But when he returned, White and his men found no trace of the nearly 100 people who lived on the island, just the word 'CROATAN' written in wood.
 
So nice to be able to disappear in this world away from evil devils that stalk you everywhere and repeat lies to defame you and harm you and harass you with knocks firecrackers and whistles non stop.
