Some people here have the wrong impression that our elite superstar leaders love having FTs around, think very highly of the FTs, are biased towards them. This is a fallacy. They think no better or worse of them than any ordinary singaporean.
The truth is that these superstars regard the FTs as being useful to serve an economic and social purpose. Make the economy better, make the country richer, make the elites richer, keep the ordinary people, some of whom are disgruntled, working hard, or fighting for scraps or hungry or whining, whatever their inclination.
Do you think they really like being around most of these FTs or want their children to mix with these FTs? What they really want is for themselves and their children to take the top positions, and have "guai guai", "through the system", ambitious, hardworking yet obedient singkie kids reporting to them. The FTs, whoever they may be, can report to these ambitious singkie kids.
