From coffee shop stall to commodious beanery capable of seating around 70, decade-old Sin Ming Road Chicken Rice (formerly Blk 24 Hainanese Chicken Rice along Upper Thomson) is undoubtedly lumbering towards greater notability - this which owner couple Kelvin Oh and Dynn Hui have a certain unnamed evangelical fan turned godsend financer to be grateful for, after he verisimilarly ploughed an eye-watering six-figure sum into expanding their hitherto pubescent business. Judging by the much larger, unremitting hubbub enjoyed since it plopped down in Bishan last July, it's probably safe assuming all stakeholders are walking on sunshine.
Sin Ming Road Chicken Rice opens daily from 10.30am-8pm except Mondays; selling you-know-what aside, the casual joint (oddly) dabbles with zi char as well, hence various supervenient items like sambal fish, onion omelette, fried tofu, Gu Lou Yuk etc.
