The higher the COE goes, the faster and more arrogantly these owners of super cars will go. Owning a luxury sports car will be even more appealing to those who are able to afford them when prices skyrocket.

The government does nothing because there is no political capital gained by going after motorists which all Sinkies aspire to be.

Instead they churn out law after law targeting lowly PMDs, eBikes and cyclists that do little or no harm as they go about their daily business. Sure they cause a bit of the nuisance and get in the way once in a while but very rarely do they cause serious injury or death.

The number of people killed or injured by push bikes or PMDs in the last decade can be counted on just one hand. In the meantime the death toll attributable to lunatic drivers continues to skyrocket annually.
