During the financial crisis Tharman told the press that the PAP garment will not guarantee loans by local banks. But less than 24 hours later assloong made an announcement that the PAP garment was going to guarantee the loans. Tharman has and will be over ruled as when it is a good thing for the PAP garment to do so.

he said that when the gahmen goes into wild spending, therefore its legit to raise GST. which also means to say, the gahmen has been spending wildly ever since GST was introduced at 3%, then raised to 5%, and then 7%.

don't be too quick to pop champagne. they say no need to raise GST for now........ subject to economy performance. basically to sum it up, GST will inevitably increase. its only a matter of time.
