After being rescued, Zhong Jinquan has been treated and is currently assisting the police in investigating the case in Thailand. The man named Li (small picture) was accused of the case and is currently being remanded in the police station to assist in the investigation.

A 32-year-old Singaporean businessman was abducted in Thailand. Within 12 hours, the kidnappers were taken to four places to torture by electric shock, splashing ice water, punching and kicking. The businessman escaped at the moment of death, saved his life, but found that the accompanying Lion City friends actually participated in planning the kidnapping.

Thai media reported recently that on the morning of the 9th this month, a 32-year-old Singaporean businessman and friends went to Bangkok to discuss business. How could I know that he encountered a kidnapper at a petrol station on the way and was also extorted bitcoin worth $ 1 million.

The case turned round, and after several kidnappers were arrested, friends of the businessman were found suspected of planning a kidnapping case. The United Evening News contacted the victim businessman Zhong Jinquan and asked him about the situation through a long distance call.

During a telephone interview this morning (January 13), Zhong Jinquan revealed that five people were arrested. Among those suspected of planning the kidnapping case was a 31-year-old friend named Li, who knew each other a few years ago because of business.

"I am a software development company and I am quite familiar with bitcoin. I also buy bitcoin. He (the suspect) also knows that I have bitcoin expertise."

The man named Li told Zhong Jinquan last week that his Thai friend was also in the technology industry and was interested in Bitcoin, so he invited Zhong Jinquan to meet with his friends. "We were scheduled to arrive at 8 am local time and leave around 3 pm the same day."

At Bangkok Airport, the two took a Grab private car to meet Thai businessmen, passing a petrol station on the way. "He said that the journey is still long and suggested that we get off the bus and buy food. I didn't find it inappropriate, so I did."

Zhong Jinquan bought the food and prepared to return to the car after eating. At this time, I saw a black beetle parked next to the gas station. "After four or five masked people got out of the car, dragged my friend and me into the black car!"

The two were so outnumbered that they were quickly blindfolded and put on hoods. "Then they punched and kicked me, and forced me to drink the drug."

$ 60,000 in bitcoins paid

Zhong Jinquan was then taken to a secret house by the kidnappers, where Zhong Jinquan continued tortured by the kidnappers. "They took off my clothes, splashed ice water, and shocked them, and forced me to hand over $ 1 million worth of Bitcoin."

Zhong Jinquan said that the kidnappers took him to four different places to torture him, and he had to hand over bitcoin worth about 60,000 US dollars. How did the kidnapper still be dissatisfied, and even dragged him to the paddy field, trying to kill him with a single shot.

Fortunately, Zhong Jinquan finally escaped and called the local police at about 8 am on the 10th. "It shocked me that the police told me that the friend who planned the kidnapping was actually coming to Thailand with me."

Hearing the sound of weeding and dredging "They are going to bury me alive"

Weeding and m&d digging, the Lion City businessman heard the kidnapper dig a pit to bury him alive, and used his wit to resolve the ticket tearing crisis on the spot.

Zhong Jinquan pointed out that after he transferred about 60,000 US dollars of Bitcoin to the other party, the kidnappers took him to a remote place, because his eyes were blindfolded, so he guessed it was a forest.

He heard the kidnappers take out the appliances and start "working," weeding and dredging, believing that he was digging to bury him alive.

"I even smelled the dirt. I knew they were going to bury me alive."

Zhong Jinquan told the kidnappers in anxiety that he had other electronic wallets to transfer more money to them, and then the kidnappers stopped digging and took him to another place for him to spit out more money.
