Dujdao Yarana, a 27-year-old Thai national, has been arrested at Phuket airport on charges of luring a woman into prostitution in Bahrain.
Ms Dudjao was arrested before boarding a plane to Bahrain by police from the Anti- Human Trafficking Division.
She was charged with forcing Thai women to work as prostitutes in Bahrain.
The arrest came after Bahrain police helped release 11 Thai women who were lured into prostitution in Manama city on Aug 17. One of the victims manage to phone Bahrain authorities, who contacted the Thai embassy and police.
The victims have returned to Thailand. Police say the trafficked women told them that Ms Dujdao and Benjawan Promma, 37, who is still at large, lured them to Bahrain with the promise of work, but locked them up in a room when they arrived.
