Not all talents are mavericks like McAfee. May be there are some squares out there, those that PAP like?

Start with totally legalizing prostitution. See what Germany is doing and emulate it. Regulate it lightly, give all working ladies health insurance.

Of course, you'll have to disband the jiakliaobees of the anti-vice raid department, some cronies and those with a vendetta against prostitution might not be happy about it.

And speaking of Germany, Tesla is making a huge factory in Berlin.

I believed that Mr Xu may had misconceptions on what true talents are & what companies whom are paying top dollars are looking for.

They are not looking for shooting stars as such no doubt burn brightly, they burn out fast.

They prefer stable talents whom can conform to hierarchical mgmt working as a team for company to be profitable or as a leader leading all to company success.

The only ones whom are allowed to be mavericks are the biz owners, as no one can fire the owner.

However, he too must adhere to the laws of the country he operates in, & should he commits offence, he like everyone else will have to face fair justice, as no one is above the law, which Spore follows & thus its stability which appeals to companies & talents.

Would they have welcome Steve Jobs & his LSD?

The late Mr Steve Jobs is NOT the only talent,, maverick & successful biz owner in the World. Our country would not be able to accommodate every successful company & talent here. Our nation only needs a few, to learn from & lift our economy & citizens high.

Regardless if the late Mr Jobs or anyone is a drug abuser or not, if he is tested positive for such; then justice will served & sent for rehabilitation.

We Singaporeans live in an equal society & Rule of Law nation.

Berlin will have no electricity for the next several winters what are u going on about? :o-o:

Bali has tax free residency for foreigners who do not earn their keeps from indo, Hong Kong has Talent 500. Of course pinky won’t allow them to steal his lunch. Instead of being filled with foreigners, imagine all the new universities becoming empty shells. The hub soulless as it is can’t fail

Terry misses the point.
The intent is to bring in as many CECAkroaches but that will have political costs. Labelling it for top talent will cost less, politically.
Sinkies are duped again.
You can't cure stupid.

Can pap dogs tell me do we have silicon valley? Do we have heavy industries? No guns either, so what would such people come here to work as?

Ah Nehs fit the talent bill that Sinkapore wants. Let's embrace the Indianization of Sinkapore. It is inevitable when there are so many Indians in cabinet. If Hsien Loong and next PM are happy with that, who are we to say otherwise.
