The temple chief, Mr Hu who was torched together with Seng Han Thong cried when he spoke about those netizens hurling verbal abuses at the MP, referring them as being “too radical, lacking compassion and humanity !”
Mr Hu suffered burns on both limbs, fingers, neck, chest and right back and had a skin graft transplant in hospital. He was discharged on 18 January and is currently recuperating well.
Mr Hu choked on his tears when he recalled Mr Seng’s injury. “I went to pay him a visit yesterday and he was very happy upon seeing me making a swift recovery. When I saw the extent of his burn injuries, I was so sad that I was unable to say a single word.”
