STOMPer Kym Lee queued for 9 hours to watch Korean boyband 2AM at IMM last Saturday (Jul 10), but ended up being blocked by these girls who stood on stools in front of everyone and even bragged that they were being 'clever'.

The disappointed fan of the K-Pop sensation wrote in her email:

"I was at IMM since 830am to queue up for the 2AM showcase, which started at 530pm.

"Everyone was sitting in the waiting area but around 5pm, there was a commotion and everyone started rushing forward.

"A group of girls who looked like they were 14 or 15 years old had taken the chance to push the people in front of them out of the way to make it nearer to the front.

"As if that wasn't enough, they brought stools and stood on them, completely blocking the view of everyone behind them.

"I ended up right behind them after all the pushing and could see nothing throughout the entire performance. I had to resort to watching the showcase on the camera screens of the people around me.

"I was not the only one. Many people around me were complaining as well.

"Some of us tried to ask the girls nicely not to use the stools but they just ignored us.

"When we got more irritated and started being sarcastic, they started scolding vulgarities.

"One girl even said smugly to her friend, 'This kind of stuff must use your wits. Whoever uses their wits will win.'

"She was the one who encouraged her friends not to pay any attention to our requests.

"This girl told her friends, 'Just ignore them. You are supposed to be happy, don't let them spoil your happy mood. Don't bother arguing with them and don't care about them.'

"Thanks to that attitude, so many of us ended up not being able to see a thing despite queuing for 9 to 10 hours for the showcase.

"I sincerely hope that such things will not happen to anyone else.

"I can't believe that this is the kind of selfish behaviour young Singaporeans have nowadays."

I would have kick the stools they were standing which will cause them to fall.

They wont know who kick as its too crowded

next time you can bring a higher stool or climb a ladder.
all this whinning would get you any where. Face with a problem, solve it instead of KPKB. No one would pity you.
Any way chasing after the supposedly "stars " is a waste of your limited and precious time
