Teen dies after attack by junkie boyfriend
KUALA LUMPUR: A teenager was embroiled in a heated argument with her drug abuser boyfriend at her rented home and just a few hours later, she was dead.
Police have detained the boyfriend after witnesses said the victim, Siti Norain Kamarulhisham, 17, was attacked by her jobless boyfriend.
After the incident on Saturday morning, her housemate found Siti Norain writhing in pain and having breathing difficulties later at 11am.
She then alerted the boyfriend who called for an ambulance.
However, Siti Norain, who had just finished her SPM, died before the ambulance arrived at the house in Bandar Mahkota Cheras.
“The post-mortem revealed that her death was caused by aspiration due to blunt force,” Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rashid Wahab said, adding that the boyfriend had been remanded until Saturday.
