Teen claims uncle raped her
KENINGAU: A 16-year-old schoolgirl has lodged a report against her uncle for raping her at least five times at a hotel here. The girl from Sook in this interior Sabah district lodged a police report yesterday over the alleged rapes that took place between Dec 1 and Dec 5.
Keningau district police chief Deputy Supt Zahari Mohamad said the uncle, who is believed to be a soldier based in Labuan, had forced her to go to a budget hotel where he held her captive and raped her.
“She told us she was afraid to run away from her uncle who constantly monitored her,” he said. Zahari said that they were investigating the case and were trying to locate the suspect to record his statement.
