Teen charged with rioting with a weapon

SINGAPORE: A 16-year-old boy has been charged with rioting with a weapon.
Muhammad Nadhir Khan Mohamad Nazir Khan is accused of attacking Ong Wei Jie and Wong Kian Hong at Jurong West Street 65 on October 1 this year, at about 7pm.
Ong and Wong were said to have been attacked by a gang armed with knives.
Nadhir is believed to be part of the gang of at least 13 males.
The maximum punishment for rioting with a weapon is 10 years' jail and caning.
