<!-- story content : start --> A LEAD aircraft technician was charged in court on Tuesday with forging a document in a colleague's name. Kevin Sim Kar Yong, 38, allegedly wrote a letter to senior airworthiness manager Quek Tong Huat by signing off as Lim Joo San to offer an unspecified sum of money to Mr Quek in return for allowing Lim to pass his aircraft maintenance technician examination. The alleged offence took place at a flat in Pasir Ris on July 18 last year. If convicted, he faces a fine and/or a jail term of up to four years. A pre-trial conference has been set for Jan 7.
