It seems that Tanjong Pagar is off limits for Election 2011.
Is it to protect LKY already artificial and flimsy legacy?
What would happen if they poll less that 60%
Now he may never know where he stands in the eyes of his electorate.

There are some who said that because of his tendency to shoot off his mouth and annoy people, the pap would rather he not speak at rallies. Hence, a walkover was the ideal solution. My regret is he did not speak as much as he could have, hence my target of a 50-55% pap margin was not realised.

It's pretty obviously he was given instructions (advice?) to keep quiet by LHL. His lack of media exposure (on his part) before, during and after the election was conspicuous. What he did say was pretty lame compared to the usual opposition bashing and we know best rhetoric we are accustomed to from him.
