It is very very small change. 11.46 billion SGD is spent on defence, almost 1/3 the national budget. Unless people overseas buy our weapons produced like crazy, the 60 bilion SGD over 5 years has a larger greater economic multiplier than almost our armagedon budget. If you grow your people and infrastructure right, you potentially could get back much more than you put in, time value discounted. You can also use money to spin using GIC and Temasek machinery.
