台灣移民二代楊安澤日前宣布要角逐2020年美國總統大選，成為美國首位要參選總統的台裔移民。楊安澤表示，若成功當選，會繼續維持現有的台美政策。
楊安澤表示，美中是全球最重要的雙邊關係，雙方必須在各領域上持續合作，針對兩岸關係，「我認為保持現狀對各方都非常有利」楊安澤指出，美國目前對中國和台灣的政策均符合各方利益，近期不需要做出調整。
對自己的台裔背景，楊安澤表示，「我已經從很多亞裔選民那裡感受到很多支持。」雖然有加分作用，但美國沒有那麼多亞裔，無法因這一點就能當選。楊安澤確信美國選民，無論種族背景，都非常渴望有一位領導人，可以改善他們的生活品質。
「自由紅利」政策 提供美國成年人每月1000美元進修學習
楊安澤的競選口號是「人性至上（Humanity First）」，因自動化和先進的人工智慧，導致數百萬個工作機會即將消失，他提出「自由紅利（Freedom Dividend）」政策，提供美國成年人每月1000美元，讓市民有金錢負擔進修及學習，解決被自動化取代的危機，來防止經濟大恐慌等級的失業率和社會總體崩潰。
楊安澤現年43歲，在紐約土生土長，為哥倫比亞大學法律博士。在紐約成立非營利機構「為美國創業」（Venture For America），幫助年輕人創業，計劃曾獲得前美國總統歐巴馬的支持。去年11月6日向聯邦選舉委員會（FEC）遞交參選申請，是美國史上第2位宣布參選總統的華人，第1位是已故共和黨籍參議員鄺友良。

Yang Anze said that if he is elected successfully, he will continue to maintain the existing Taiwan policy.
Yang Anze said that the United States and China are the most important bilateral relations in the world. Both sides must continue to cooperate in various fields. For cross-strait relations, “I think maintaining the status quo is very beneficial to all parties.” Yang Anze pointed out that the United States is currently working with China and Taiwan.
