Jeff Chang revealed in a media interview that the unhappiest experience in his 20-year career is a sexual request by a rich woman. Jeff said a rich woman has once invited him for dinner and later hinted for some sexual services.

Jeff said the woman did not approach him directly. Instead she sent her request to Jeff through a third party. She wanted to know whether Jeff is interested in her proposal. "Of course she did not quote the price to me directly. That is too direct and hurtful. She wanted to know whether I was interested first before talking about the price." Jeff did not feel proud or cool about this incident. He was hurt by the rich woman's request. Jeff said there are many people with fantasies about the entertainment circle, thus any artistes has the possibility of meeting this kind of problem. Jeff said: "There are hidden rules for everything. It depends on the individual's request and principles. You need two hands to clap; you need to look at the feelings of both parties before deciding to follow the hidden rules."
