Taiwanese mata will go the extra miles and do the hardworks for justice. This is the prove of it. Singapore mata will not do this for us.
A driver reported that he ran over and killed his neighbor one night, under a big rain. The man under the wheels were found dead at the exit of underground parking space. It seem to be a simple case of accident since it was dark and raining, and driving out from underground to a raining exit from a slop with blind corners on both sides it is easy enough to kill your own neighbor.
But the driver was cleared by Taiwanese mata after very good investigations.
The forensic tests found the dead man with injuries more serious than that could be caused by the car. More like high speed impact, at speed much higher than that car could be running out from that underground parking.
The mata then check the CCTV tapes of the building, and in 2 cameras the found recording that a man actually fell to the car park exit from the roof about 40 seconds before the car came out to run over the body.
The dead man's shoe prints were fond on the roof. He lost his job and his girl friend left him, so these could be reasons for him to take a jump from the roof.
When driving up the slope to the drive way it is easy for the driver inside a car tilting upwards not to see that a body was on the ground, especially it was dark and raining.
Justice is done, and the driver was clear.

〔記者余瑞仁、沈繼昌／桃園報導〕桃園縣楊梅鎮梅獅路甜蜜新家社區張姓住戶13日晚間駕車外出，將車輛駛出地下停車場車道出口時，發現輾過同社區住戶林志遠，送醫宣告不治，原本以為是單純的死亡車禍，經過檢警深入調查，研判死者是墜樓後被車輛輾過，還給張某清白。
檢警調查，33歲的死者林志遠原在新竹科學園區電子廠工作，但他在上月離職，且曾公證結婚但未登記的「妻子」也與他分手，不排除為此跳樓輕生。
這起離奇「車禍案」發生於13日晚間近8點，張姓住戶駕車從地下室停車場外出，他沿著彎曲的坡道駛出車道口時正下著滂沱大雨，突然感覺左前輪輾過異物，下車查看發現車子壓到人。張某立即報警處理，警方召來救護車將被壓在車底的林志遠送醫急救，但仍告不治，案由警方製作筆錄後，以車禍意外死亡案報請檢察官相驗。
檢察官黃榮德偕同法醫相驗時發現死者遺體有強烈撞擊跡象，心生疑惑，指示警方調閱社區與附近監視器細查事發經過。發現車道口畫面發現在案發前僅40秒左右，有黑影自上墜落；另一監視畫面則清楚顯示同時間有人墜樓。
畫面使得案情大逆轉，警方加強蒐證，前往住家頂樓採證，發現有與死者鞋子相符的多個鞋印；而檢察官昨天複驗，解剖發現死者頸椎與肋骨骨折及肝臟破裂、右腳踝開放性骨折、皮下組織挫傷等，研判為高速墜地造成，但由於車輛曾輾過死者，法醫也採集遺體檢體與車輛碰撞部位進行比對。
家屬在檢警完整蒐證以及畫面佐證下，接受林墜樓死亡的事實。
