Taiwan man gave $14.3 million to Chinese mistress who lied

For seven years, a woman from China managed to convince her Taiwanese businessman lover that she was a Singaporean, less than a third his age and single.
She even told him she had borne him twins.
But Zhao Meirong was actually 35 years old - not 23. She was also married, and instead of twins, she had just one son by her husband.
The businessman, Mr Chen Chun Kang, 79, died recently, but had already started proceedings to sue her in the Singapore High Court for the return of $3.98 million he gave her.
