警方19日晚間在觀音區福新路，查獲4名犯嫌涉嫌經營地下賭盤集團，賭資金額高達2.5億元，為歷年之高。犯嫌為避人耳目，特別以代號「青菜」、「魚」來指涉下注對象，企圖成立選舉賭盤介入選舉影響選情。全案目前依賭博及違反總統副總統選舉罷免法移送桃園地檢署偵辦，警方表示將全力防範選舉暴力、加強查緝選舉賭盤，務求淨化選前治安。
中壢警方與移民署桃園專勤隊於19日晚間21時許，在觀音區福新路查獲4名犯嫌，分別為53歲陳姓組頭與24歲袁姓、27歲袁姓及36歲張姓等三名員工，並查扣手機、監視器、傳真機及電腦，另有帳冊、簽單、現金賭資2萬等物品，總計賭資金額高達2.5億元。

犯嫌以LINE及傳真機供賭客下注簽賭選舉賭盤，並以蔡英文若選上總統須讓票70萬票給韓國瑜，若韓國瑜選上總統不須讓票，所有賠率為0.95%，下注金額一口5萬元設為賭局。其中犯嫌為避人耳目，特別以代號「青菜」、「魚」來指涉下注對象，犯嫌為求好賭運更在筆電上以一個大大的「贏」作為桌面。
中壢警分局分局長劉印宮指出，選舉賭盤簽注方式多以附設傳統地下簽賭、網路簽賭網站為主，且投注標的大多以代號呈現，規避警方查緝，選舉在即，警方將往上追查中、大盤，向下清查下注賭客，以了解清查投注情形及管道。對於企圖影響選舉秩序之不法分子，絕對強力偵辦，斷其金流，全面淨化選前治安。
