花蓮縣秀林鄉今（ 18 ）日 13:01 發生芮氏規模 6.1 地震，最大震度花蓮銅門 7 級，台北市、新北市也有 4 級震度，全台有感。中央氣象局警告，這是今年規模超過 6 的地震，未來一周不排除有規模 5 以上餘震發生；地震專家也提醒，此次地震僅釋放 0.7 顆原子彈威力，預估尚有 13.3 顆原子彈能量待釋放，民眾不可掉以輕心。
此次地震全台皆感受到大力搖晃，花蓮震度更達 7 級，對此，地震專家郭鎧紋表示，921 大地震發生前，台灣累積待釋放能量高達 200、300 顆威力，921 一震就釋放了 100 顆原子彈，直至 2016 年已清空所有能量。
不過，由於近 3 年來規模 6 以上的地震不多，導致能量累積，雖然去（ 2018 ）年花蓮大地震達規模 6.26 ，實際上釋放的能量卻不到 2 顆原子彈。郭鎧紋也指出，此次強震規模 6.1 ，釋放能量僅約 0.7 顆原子彈，目前台灣還有約 13.3 顆原子彈能量尚待釋放，提醒民眾不要掉以輕心。

下午1點01分，全台天搖地動，花蓮秀林鄉發生規模達6.1的地震，地震深度只有18.8公里，當地銅門村震度高達7級，時間持續33秒，台東、宜蘭乃至於彰化、嘉義部分地區震度也達5級。台北雖只有4級，但因為盆地效應，造成震動時間拉長、強度也放大，感受搖晃又大又久。氣象局更定義，當地這是「非正常能量釋放」，未來一週內可能還有規模超過5的餘震，還是要小心。
週四下午1點01分地牛翻身，花蓮芮氏規模達6.1的強震，全台天搖地動。
台北豪宅頂樓，原本平靜水池宛如人工造浪池，激起大片水花，溢到庭院。
花蓮屋內同樣嚇人，牆上畫作就像海盜船一樣左右、上下擺動，吊燈也在空中劇烈搖晃，最後固定壁畫的繩索應聲被扯斷。
台北101大樓86樓的餐廳，天花板懸掛的整面燈泡，甚至因劇烈搖晃，互相撞擊破碎，碎片掉滿走廊，民眾嚇得邊拍邊退。
氣象局地震測報中心主任陳國昌指出，「他這個地震有前震，4月15日晚間11點幾乎在相同的地方，它是這個主震的前震。」

4月15日就有前震，這回主震深度只有18.8公里，屬淺層地震，最大震度出現在花蓮銅門村達到7級，南投、宜蘭和台中梨山也有5級，雙北桃竹苗4級，雲林、台東和嘉義則為3級。1點17分又發生規模4.1的餘震，而這也是銅門村自1973年有科技觀測後，46來最大的一起地震。
氣象局地震測報中心主任陳國昌：「不能算正常能量釋放，所謂正常是說我固定時間，就發生固定差不多大小的地震，所以這個當然不能算正常。」
不只「非正常能量釋放」，這回大台北地區儘管震度只有4級，但受到盆地效應影響，導致強度放大，實際感受搖晃又大又久。上一回北市出現4級震度，已經是近10年前的2009年12月，中間還有兩次震度達到達5級，但的確並不常見。

陳國昌表示，「台北盆地它有盆地效應，所以才會在距離這麼遠的地方，有震度5的震度產生，不排除會有規模5以上的餘震，但這裡的地質結構比較堅硬，所以它的餘震數量並不會太多。」
氣象局不排除，未來一週內，還有機會發生規模5以上的餘震，提醒民眾千萬得留意，別輕忽地震的威力。

根據中央氣象局地震測報中心地震報告，規模6.1地震，發生在花蓮縣政府西北方10.6公里，即位於花蓮縣秀林鄉，深度18.8公里，最大震度花蓮銅門7級，太魯閣6級，台北市震度達4級。
台北市災害應變中心共受理22件災情，分別為物品掉落7件、停水6件、電梯受困6件、電線垂落1件、建物傾斜1件、其他1件。北捷一度全線停駛，在2時30分已復駛，貓纜、兒童新樂園也一度暫停營業，分別在2時與2時40分恢復正常。
台北市消防局下午獲報，信義路四段一棟大樓向右傾斜在隔壁大樓上，現場先前已疏散32人 。中央災變中心表示，該大樓在921地震時就傾斜，北市府派員查看後，建物已無增加傾斜狀況，也無人員受傷。

台北市長安東路二段一棟建築物地震後發生傾斜狀況，警消現場圍起封鎖線，疏散100多人到附近伊通公園，內政部長徐國勇前往現場勘查後表示，經土木技師判斷，建物結構無立即危險。相關住戶已於下午3時30分陸續返家，長安東路二段東西向已正常通車，現場恢復正常。
至於網傳松仁路路面龜裂，台北市長柯文哲於臉書也po文指出，信義分局派員前往現地勘查，證實是柏油灑落，無安全顧慮。

花蓮縣18日下午1點1分發生規模6.1的強震，震央位在花蓮縣秀林鄉，深度為18.8公里，全台皆有感。其中，花蓮縣銅門震度高達7級，氣象局地震特報中心主任陳國昌指出，這是該地區自1973年有科學儀器測量以來最大的一次地震。
陳國昌表示，這是2019年發生第一個規模超過6的地震，每年平均有2到3個，往好方向想是2019年已先發生一個規模超過6的地震，未來發生規模超過6地震的次數就會減少。
陳國昌提到，銅門地區從1973開始，規模超過5的只有6個（含18日地震），先前5個地震規模都沒有超過6，而這次規模6.1地震是該地區從1973年以來最大的一次，同時也是該地區的最高震度，此次的地震也不能算是一次「正常能量釋放」。
至於未來是否有餘震，陳國昌表示不排除會有規模5以上的餘震，發生時間應該是在一周內，若一周之內沒有發生，那麼餘震發生機率就會衰減得很快，因為這邊地質結構堅硬。

北市府說，花蓮地震也造成新光三越百貨A8到A4館中間空橋的2條鋼索斷裂，轄區三張犁派出所獲報後，已派人前往圍住封鎖線，並無人員受傷，經調查，2條鋼索只是裝飾用，並不會影響橋樑安全，工務局也派吊車前往處理，預計晚間10時完成修復。

下午1點01分，全台天搖地動，花蓮秀林鄉發生規模達6.1的地震，地震深度只有18.8公里，當地銅門村震度高達7級，時間持續33秒，台東、宜蘭乃至於彰化、嘉義部分地區震度也達5級。台北雖只有4級，但因為盆地效應，造成震動時間拉長、強度也放大，感受搖晃又大又久。氣象局更定義，當地這是「非正常能量釋放」，未來一週內可能還有規模超過5的餘震，還是要小心。
週四下午1點01分地牛翻身，花蓮芮氏規模達6.1的強震，全台天搖地動。
台北豪宅頂樓，原本平靜水池宛如人工造浪池，激起大片水花，溢到庭院。
花蓮屋內同樣嚇人，牆上畫作就像海盜船一樣左右、上下擺動，吊燈也在空中劇烈搖晃，最後固定壁畫的繩索應聲被扯斷。
台北101大樓86樓的餐廳，天花板懸掛的整面燈泡，甚至因劇烈搖晃，互相撞擊破碎，碎片掉滿走廊，民眾嚇得邊拍邊退。
氣象局地震測報中心主任陳國昌指出，「他這個地震有前震，4月15日晚間11點幾乎在相同的地方，它是這個主震的前震。」

4月15日就有前震，這回主震深度只有18.8公里，屬淺層地震，最大震度出現在花蓮銅門村達到7級，南投、宜蘭和台中梨山也有5級，雙北桃竹苗4級，雲林、台東和嘉義則為3級。1點17分又發生規模4.1的餘震，而這也是銅門村自1973年有科技觀測後，46來最大的一起地震。
氣象局地震測報中心主任陳國昌：「不能算正常能量釋放，所謂正常是說我固定時間，就發生固定差不多大小的地震，所以這個當然不能算正常。」
不只「非正常能量釋放」，這回大台北地區儘管震度只有4級，但受到盆地效應影響，導致強度放大，實際感受搖晃又大又久。上一回北市出現4級震度，已經是近10年前的2009年12月，中間還有兩次震度達到達5級，但的確並不常見。

陳國昌表示，「台北盆地它有盆地效應，所以才會在距離這麼遠的地方，有震度5的震度產生，不排除會有規模5以上的餘震，但這裡的地質結構比較堅硬，所以它的餘震數量並不會太多。」
氣象局不排除，未來一週內，還有機會發生規模5以上的餘震，提醒民眾千萬得留意，別輕忽地震的威力。

根據中央氣象局地震測報中心地震報告，規模6.1地震，發生在花蓮縣政府西北方10.6公里，即位於花蓮縣秀林鄉，深度18.8公里，最大震度花蓮銅門7級，太魯閣6級，台北市震度達4級。
台北市災害應變中心共受理22件災情，分別為物品掉落7件、停水6件、電梯受困6件、電線垂落1件、建物傾斜1件、其他1件。北捷一度全線停駛，在2時30分已復駛，貓纜、兒童新樂園也一度暫停營業，分別在2時與2時40分恢復正常。
台北市消防局下午獲報，信義路四段一棟大樓向右傾斜在隔壁大樓上，現場先前已疏散32人 。中央災變中心表示，該大樓在921地震時就傾斜，北市府派員查看後，建物已無增加傾斜狀況，也無人員受傷。

台北市長安東路二段一棟建築物地震後發生傾斜狀況，警消現場圍起封鎖線，疏散100多人到附近伊通公園，內政部長徐國勇前往現場勘查後表示，經土木技師判斷，建物結構無立即危險。相關住戶已於下午3時30分陸續返家，長安東路二段東西向已正常通車，現場恢復正常。
至於網傳松仁路路面龜裂，台北市長柯文哲於臉書也po文指出，信義分局派員前往現地勘查，證實是柏油灑落，無安全顧慮。
位於南港的衛福部大樓天花板、輕鋼架大片掉落，電線也散落一地，所幸暫無人傷亡，衛福部長陳時中逐樓巡視，慰問衛福部人員。
新北市共接獲7起電梯受困案件，其中1台電梯內有多達12名乘客，目前已全數救出。

另外，中橫公路綠水合流步道，落石掉落，砸中遊客一男一女，其中台籍女性頭部受傷，馬來西亞籍男子則被石頭壓住下半身，救出時無生命跡象，送醫搶救後恢復心跳，目前作電腦斷層檢查。
台8線中橫公路今天下午受花蓮地震影響、出現落石，公路總局封路處理，下午4時開放通行，但公路總局說，因台8線邊坡不穩定，今晚7時再預警封閉至明天上午8時。公路總局第二區工程處谷關工務段則指出，由於部分落石達數百公斤，車輛無法通行，37K（上谷關）至64K（德基）路段下午到明天中午管制車輛只出不進。
台9線蘇花公路零星落石，經公路單位初步巡查目前可雙向通行。有關蘇花崇德落石，花蓮縣警局提出聲明：台9線179.1K對面山區確有因地震落石，未如部分媒體報導「走山」情形，距離台9線蘇花公路尚有100至200公尺之遠，經現場查看未有其他人及第三人因地震受傷。
台鐵指出，下午1時55分，電力調配室通報，花蓮與北埔間東正線有一處電車線三角架歪斜、隔電子斷裂、懸臂組歪斜，經全力搶修，下午2時34分修復，路線恢復正常行駛。

陳國昌表示，這是2019年發生第一個規模超過6的地震，每年平均有2到3個，往好方向想是2019年已先發生一個規模超過6的地震，未來發生規模超過6地震的次數就會減少。
陳國昌提到，銅門地區從1973開始，規模超過5的只有6個（含18日地震），先前5個地震規模都沒有超過6，而這次規模6.1地震是該地區從1973年以來最大的一次，同時也是該地區的最高震度，此次的地震也不能算是一次「正常能量釋放」。
至於未來是否有餘震，陳國昌表示不排除會有規模5以上的餘震，發生時間應該是在一周內，若一周之內沒有發生，那麼餘震發生機率就會衰減得很快，因為這邊地質結構堅硬。

北市府說，花蓮地震也造成新光三越百貨A8到A4館中間空橋的2條鋼索斷裂，轄區三張犁派出所獲報後，已派人前往圍住封鎖線，並無人員受傷，經調查，2條鋼索只是裝飾用，並不會影響橋樑安全，工務局也派吊車前往處理，預計晚間10時完成修復。
