Third wife charged with hurting fourth wife with parang​

KUALA PILAH: The third wife of a man was charged at the Sessions Court here today with injuring his fourth wife with a parang.

Ruslyzay Shawaratuaini Che Roslan, 36, from Puchong, Selangor, was charged with intentionally causing injury to a 41-year-old woman using a parang at 4.30pm on Oct 15 at a house in Felda Lui Timur, near Bandar Seri Jempol.

She pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing grievous hurt.

She was granted RM10,000 bail with one surety, and warned not to approach the victim. She also had to surrender her international passport to the court.

The court set Dec 5 for mention.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Muhammad Amirul Noor Hashimi prosecuted, while the accused was unrepresented.
