Yes, the person who did this is indeed a lout, unless he or she is a Muslim trying to gain coveted victimhood status, as we have seen so many times before. The perpetrator, if found, should be made to clean up any mess that was made. But that’s about it. The reaction from the Malmö Police, however, is a bit overheated. There have been over 37,000 jihad attacks worldwide since 9/11, with a death toll that is even larger. In Sweden itself, Muslim migrants have been responsible for a sharp rise in crime, particularly sexual assault and rape. In Malmö, Muslims have recently been violently rioting after the burning of a Qur’an. Have the Malmö Police lost all sense of proportion and perspective? Yes, they have, because Swedish authorities have uncritically swallowed the false claim that Muslims are frequently victimized in Western countries and thus are deserving of particular solicitude.
