Suspected female serial thief arrested in Ang Mo Kio

The Police this morning arrested a Malay woman suspected of committing a series of theft cases in Ang Mo Kio.

The 45-year-old suspect is believed to be involved in more than five cases of thefts involving handbags and mobile phones between Oct 18 and Nov 4 this year. She is believed to have committed the offences in public areas such as hawker centres and toilets.

Following reports made, officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division carried out investigations and finally arrested the suspect in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 at about 9am this morning.
