People scrambled to supermarket last night when our leader mentioned about buying eggs from Ukraine. Apparently, these people cannot think like businessmen. I also know we can buy fish from Falkland Islands. The point is that it is not practical and Ukraine's European neighbours and China can do the same. Do you think we can outbuy China and EU?

Secondly, citing such bad example over an essential (eggs) hint that eggs-supply will be hit. During panic hoarding, Malaysia fresh-producers will be obliged to supply their domestic market first. While Malaysia allow freight trucks to continue to move to Singapore, do you think that the newly-formed Malaysian government will let us outbuy their domestic voters?

Next, Malaysia ordered businesses to close except groceries-related, gov, postal, etc. Even if food processors are exempted and allowed to open, there is no one delivering the packing materials to the food processors. Likewise for daily necessities, most of our toilet rolls and tissues are from Malaysia, now these plants in Malaysia will be closed temporarily.

I don't recommend stocking up fresh produce. Our fridge size is limited.

Consider those with good shelf life, eg. chicken of the sea (canned tuna), biscuits, noodles, vitamin C tabs, canned food and milk powders (adults also can take), etc.

Yes, can find wild boars a few LRT away and along the way when you walk out of marina country club to LRT, you can also hunt for wild dogs.

If you are lucky, you can spot big water monitor lizards at pier next to Gills fishing. These three animals all very good tonics.
