SINGAPORE: Mr Sundaresh Menon was sworn in as Singapore's fourth Chief Justice on November 7 at the Istana.
President Tony Tan Keng Yam presided at the Swearing-in Ceremony.
Chief Justice Menon will also be the Chairman of the Presidential Council for Minority Rights.
He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1987.
Mr Menon was the Attorney-General of Singapore and appointed Judge of Appeal until his current appointment as Chief Justice.
He succeeded Chief Justice Chan Sek Keong who retired after turning 75.
