Place the nuclear power station in one of the outlying islands so the damage from accidents will be minimal. Invite both US and China to monitor for weapons if they wish, but only for an inspection fee (just like both US and Soviet ships were welcome here during the cold war - as long as they paid).
In fact, Singapore is the only country that both superpowers (and even the Russians) will trust so we could be allowed to operate nuclear plants and sell electricity to Malaysia and Indonesia (though I don't know if Indonesia has a power grid to transport power across the whole archipelago).
