Student nabbed over drug abuse
HULU TERENGGANU: Drug taking started early for the son of a settler here who admitted he started the habit at the age of 15.
A year later, when taking amphetamines has become part of his daily routine, he was nabbed by the police.
Terengganu Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department chief Supt Roslan Abd Wahid said the 16-year-old boy, who is a secondary school student here, was arrested during a raid at his home at Felda Jerangau Barat at about 3am on Saturday.
He was among 87 arrested during a police operation and given dug tests.
Roslan said that 66 of them, aged between 16 and 40, tested positive. — Bernama
