If this happens, wouldn't Sinkies solve a lot of problems?

Like:
1) min wage
2) oppose some policies
3) stop FT from taking up some jobs

For eg:
Toilet cleaners can form an union to collectively make their job exclusive to only locals and negotiate for reasonable pay.
This is very common in US. They do it almost every few years to negotiate for pay raise.

I think many Sinkies are allergic to strikes due to PAP propaganda. Time to wake up Sinkies. If you cannot vote them out, you gotta learn how to cripple them.

strikes are started by trade unions, NTUC def won't organize any for our peasants...

lightning strikes got la ...

ah merlion kena twice recently ...

Unions should be formed outside NTUC.
Why should NTUC organize strikes against their PAP Masters????

Wrong!

Strikes starts by strike organizers. Organizers don't have to be the union. Unions can be by-past. As long as workers are angry enough and union can by siding Govt, independent organizers and activate workers to strike.

In fact weather legal or not workers can ad-hoc form any temp union or strike committee. In the end power is only in the hands of the final winner. The loser will get the penalty - if workers can fight strongly the PAP govt will be punished eventually not the workers.

PAP control CUNT but that is nothing actually.

Singapore is SIMMERING on the ground.

All it takes is just one CHARISMATIC person to lead the strike and tens if not hundreds of thousands (including cheaply paid PRCs) WILL join in.

Don't believe? Ask TS to get Kong Hee to lead with his congregation. It will grow and grow.

BUT WAIT. Where to find such a CHARISMATIC person in Singapore?
:(

This is exactly what all authorities fear. Kong Hee will be behind bars under the sedition act or ISA sooner than he can make it happen. See how China dealt with the Falungong. There is no Nelson Mandela here.

we can juz comment abt it here but...in sg, strikes??? almost every1 in sg are afraid. dey tink it doesnt improve anyting as we are not really democratic at the first plc. as long every mth there is income for one and the family, everyting is fine le.

the culture, the thinking and the control of sg ppl by govt, chance of strike is very low.

Gather a few FTs to commit suicide. Then the rest can demand for a pay rise!

Your description of Singaporeans is SPOT ON.

That is why Singaporeans are LOOKED DOWN upon in every corner of the globe.

So whenever you travel and when asked; always be like me and tell them I am from Singapore but I do not like or vote for the SCUMS. That is when, they truly respect you. .

Even our MINISTARS are frowned upon as GANGSTERS of the highest order.

Because it just doesn't pay. Because you are deemed to be going up against not just the big corporations but also, more importantly, your government.:D

Bad matchup.:p

A third strike in four weeks hit Honda Motor Co.’s (HMC-N28.71-0.63-2.15%) Chinese suppliers on Wednesday, fuelling concerns that unrest among workers in the world’s manufacturing hub is spreading.
