Storm hits central China, one dead

Storms swept Luoyang, Central China's Henan province from 7 am Saturday. 15 villages have been hit by gales, hail and heavy rains. The bad weather left one person dead, and cut down electricity and telecommunication in some villages as well as destroying three bridges and blocking several roads, causing an estimated 900 million yuan ($132 million) in losses.
